Financial Projects: Crisis Center for Women, Esther Home, Girls Shelter,  Zonta Club of Fort Smith STEM Scholarship, Annette Putman Zonta Club of Fort Smith Scholarship, Rose Day Scholarship, Young Women in Public Affairs Award, and the Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship.

Hands-on Service: Each member is required to devote a minimum of four hours of participation in a club service project:  Girls Shelter, Crisis Center for Women, First Impressions Workshop, Partners in Education, Girls Inc., Esther Home, ZISVAW, and 16 Days of Activism. Girls Shelter Received $5000 Grant from

During Zonta’s centennial celebration, Girls Shelter, Inc. received one of the 62 Zonta International Centennial Anniversary Grants awarded.  A total of 289 applications were submitted from clubs throughout the world.

The Girls Shelter received a $5000 grant for their project Breaking the Drug Abuse Cycle–Empowering for a Better Life.

Presented by then President Kim Vann who relayed the good news of the awarding of the grant to Mary Dale Colvett, then executive director of the Girls Shelter, and Pam Miller, Girls Shelter board member.
